Building Confident Speakers Since 2017
Founded in 2017 by Mas Mahathir and Dr Jolynn Ch’ng, MicFront Public Speaking Academy was built on a powerful belief: learning to speak confidently can change a person’s life.
The journey began after witnessing a shy child who was once afraid to step onto a stage eventually volunteer to emcee for his school. Inspired by this transformation, Coach Mahathir and Coach Jolynn combined public speaking, psychology, counselling, and education to create lessons that are engaging, practical, and meaningful.
Today, MicFront is an award-winning public speaking academy in Malaysia, recognised with the Malaysia Top Achievers Award 2019, Best Education Franchise at the Malaysian Education Awards, and Parents’ Choice Award for Best Public Speaking School in both 2025 and 2026.
MicFront also made history by organising the Largest Public Speaking Event in Malaysia, bringing together more than 1,000 participants and earning official recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records.
Our programmes help children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and organisations develop confidence, communication skills, presentation skills, leadership, storytelling, and the courage to express themselves.
The MicFront “M” logo represents an open door—a welcoming space where every student can enter, grow, and discover their voice. Formerly known as Mahathir Academy, MicFront has empowered thousands of students and professionals across Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and beyond to speak with confidence and create a lasting impact.

Dr Jolynn Ch'ng
Dr Jolynn Ch’ng is an accomplished educator, licensed counsellor, and education entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience. She holds a PhD in Personality Development and a Master’s in Counselling with Distinction. Since co-founding MicFront Public Speaking in 2017, Dr Jolynn has spearheaded its growth into a leading public speaking academy with 17 outlets. As CEO and Franchisor, she combines psychology, counselling, and education to develop confident speakers, capable leaders, and empowered individuals. Her notable achievements include:

Dr Jolynn Ch'ng
