About Mahathir
Mas Mahathir Mohamad is an award-winning public speaking coach, corporate trainer, entrepreneur, and internationally recognised competitive speaker. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of MicFront Public Speaking Academy, one of Malaysia’s leading public speaking education brands, with a growing network of centres across the country. With more than a decade of experience in training, coaching, and communication, Mas Mahathir has helped thousands of children, professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs become more confident and impactful communicators. His training approach combines practical public speaking techniques, storytelling, communication psychology, stage presence, and leadership development. On the international stage, Mas Mahathir achieved World No. 2 at the 2025 World Championship of Public Speaking and World No. 3 in 2022. He is also a four-time World Championship semifinalist and a 12-time District Champion, establishing him as one of Malaysia’s most accomplished competitive public speakers. Under his leadership, MicFront has received numerous recognitions, including the Parents’ Choice Award for Best Public Speaking School in 2025 and 2026, the Malaysia Top Achievers Award, and the Best Education Franchise recognition by the Malaysian Education Awards. Mas Mahathir also led MicFront in organising one of Malaysia’s largest public speaking events, involving more than 1,000 participants and receiving recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records. Today, he continues to coach emerging speakers, develop future leaders, train corporate teams, and expand access to high-quality public speaking education across Malaysia and beyond.
